We had genuine experience of Disaster Recovery following the Buncefield oil explosion in 2005. We worked with a number of PS enterprise users, helping them recover quickly from a difficult situation. We ensured they were able to produce payroll for their staff in the run up to Christmas. We succeeded on time with all employees paid on their normal pay day.
Our Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Service can provide:
- Setup of backup procedure to run each night, working with you to ensure suitable arrangements are made for switching media and ensuring appropriate off-site storage.
- A daily check to ensure that your previous night's backups were completed successfully. You will be informed of the reasons for any failures and we will take immediate action to ensure your backup is completed urgently.
- Annual disaster recovery test at your request.
- In the event of disaster, we will provide you with a suitable hardware platform and a fully recovered system from the backup media within 48hrs of first notification.
- We can provide you with a specialist Disaster Recovery and Business Protection Planning Package to help in the production of your organisation’s overall contingency plans.
In the event of a disaster, you have the option to use our specialist Business Recovery Centre for a specified number of staff. These can provide you with full and comprehensive office facilities.
